Privacy notice

Carcassonne Belgium is run by volunteers of the Belgian Carcassonne community. This page says which personal data the site keeps and why.

Registrations

When you register for a tournament we store your name, e-mail address, BGA nickname and remarks. The organisers of that tournament use them to confirm your place, to prepare the pairings and to reach you about the event. Your e-mail address is not shared with anyone else and is not used for newsletters. Registrations are deleted after the tournament season; ask us earlier and we delete yours at once.

Results and statistics

The results pages show the names and BGA nicknames under which players took part in the Belgian competitions and in international tournaments, as the organisers of those tournaments published them. A result you send in through the form is stored with the names you give, so the organisers can check it. Want a profile corrected, or your name removed from the statistics? Send us an e-mail.

Signing in

Only organisers and editors sign in, with a Google account. We keep the name, e-mail address and profile picture that Google provides, to show who edited what.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets one session cookie, which it needs to work; there are no advertising or analytics trackers. The live tournament page remembers in your browser which player you are, so it opens on your table.
